Technical Constructional Consulting: Cell Fab 2 Silicon-Solar Cell Production
On the major industrial site at Erfurter Kreuz, ersol Solar Energy AG is planning to build a new silicon solar cell production on a site of approximately 4.1 hectares. The new facility will have an annual production capacity of 100 MWp. When the site was chosen, extending the production halls to include further modules had already been taken into account as well as an optional construction of a central administrative building and a solar system. The building complex of the Cell Fab 2 is divided into the following areas: production, technology/facilities, logistic, offices and social rooms.
aib will do the technical constructional consulting for ersol by preparing the distribution of planning and construction work. This ensures the realisation of the project goals and the fulfilment of the client’s interests.
aib had already played an advisory role concerning the contract management during the preparations and participation in the handover to the general contractor. During the construction work, aib will regularly check the work on site. This ensures that the project targets, costs, deadlines and quality are fulfilled. In particular aIB is a reliable partner for ersol due to the expertise gained in numerous projects of a similar nature. Furthermore, possible savings potentials are constantly identified in order to keep within the budget or even reduce construction costs. aib is in a position to advise ersol on all the constructional issues including making recommendations on decisions to be taken.
aib was also able to assist ersol in optimising other investment projects. Fair play towards all those involved in the project and the integration within the construction team are a practised philosophy of aib.
